HAPPY LANDING WITH THE ITALIAN MOOD IN 5

The Italian Mood in Five resident band on the Italian liner has received a special award as the result of a band competition conducted by 2CH's Arrivederci Roma radio program.

Program compere, Mrs Lena said a different Italian band was featured each Monday night over a six-month period.
A total of of 26 bands competed and more than 1000 listeners responded with votes.

The award an alabaster baton and individual certificates to each member of the band, was presentedby 2CH manager P.Greeves during a buffet luncheon aboard the liner.

The band was also videotaped for a nationwide television show over TEN and recorded several selections for 2KY.
The television program is TEN's new musical variety show "And All That", and the sequence will be screened in early March in both Sydney and Melbourne.
